As you read in our blog post TOP 10 NFL Players 2016 Best Hair & Style the NFL 2016 season is about to KICK OFF! And who is one of the most distinctive players when you gaze upon the field after the match has ended and the helmets have been removed?
THAT’S CORRECT! Having red hair and wearing an orange shirt the Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback Andy Dalton is definitely one of the most conspicuous players in the league.
The New Ginger Loving Trend!
As you will read in the blog post Redhead Renaissance: The new Ginger Loving trend, red hair for men has found its way into fashion trends â from fiery orange to bright copper to deep burgundy. And even if you donât have red hair, Andy Dalton’s hairstyle is still SUPER COOL and obviously applicable for blonds, brunettes and dark hair.
Letâs get to it guys! Here comes a step-by-step tutorial on how to get the sporty short Andy Dalton haircut.
Step 1: Wash Your Hair
First of all, before the haircut, it’s always important to wash out all the old products to get more manageable hair. Use shampoo and conditioner if needed. We recommend shampoo and conditioner from By Vilain Skyline.
Step 2: Split The Hair Into Sections
Part your hair into sections at your headâs temple and form a line backwards with a fine-tooth By Vilain Comb. This ought to be done on each side whereupon the lines must be linked at the back of your head forming a connection. Above the lines, the hair should be combed upwards and underneath the lines, the hair should be combed downwards.
Step 3: Scissor Over Comb Technique
After a short blow-drying â use a scissor and the By Vilain Comb to create a smooth gradient by trimming. The gradient goes from 6 mm (bottom) to 1 cm (top) of the sides. Finish this step by only using the scissor in combination with finger measurements.
Step 4: Trim The Edges
Trim around the ears and neck with an electric trimmer. Create a steep slope at the lower hairline. The rest of the sides and back head will get a more gradient fade up with the measurements from step 3.
Step 5: Gradient From The Fringe To The Top Center
Start at the top center and work your hair way forward to gradually make it longer and longer (from 3 cm to 5 cm) as you approach the fringe. This can also be done the other way around (shorter and shorter going backwards), but in this hairstyle, you would prefer to naturally push the hair forward. More on that in step 8.
Step 6: Thin The Hair
By thinning the hair itâll be easier to style afterwards and the hairstyle wonât look heavy!
Step 7: Apply Heat-Protection (Sidekick)
Apply heat-protection, texture and hold and boost the hair volume with By Vilain Sidekick to improve the final styling options.
Step 8: Hair-dry The Sidekick Into The Hair
Hair-dry from the back of the head and forward to align the hairstyle and push it forward. This must be done before the Sidekick dries up naturally to melt the pre-styling spray into the hair. This way you will improve your styling options further. Shake the hair-dryer gently and tip the beak to prevent burning your hair and speed up the process. Remember, Sidekick protects your hair from the heat from the blow dryer and can also be used as a hair styling spray.
Step 9: Finish Your Look With Dynamite Clay
Now it’s time to finish your look! Style your hair with By Vilain Dynamite Clay to achieve extreme hold and reconsider the edges. If they need a shape up, consider using a razor for the final touch.
